Setting: Coffee Shop. Muted conversation, cutlery clanking softly.

Characters: Mike and Alex

Open: Mike is seated in front of a laptop; Alex approaches him with a cup of coffee.

Alex: What are you watching?

Hands coffee to Mike. Mike takes the cup and sets it next to his computer

Mike: You Tube. I’m trying to learn animation, but there's got to be a better way!

Mike looks flustered. Alex leans closer to computer.

Alex: You’re pretty good! But why is that dog wearing a top hat?

Mike: To go to a wedding, obviously (frustrated sigh). I give up!

Mike slams the laptop shut.

Alex (laughing): Do you remember Tim?

Mike turns to Alex, surprised, interested

Mike: Doesn't he work for one of those big animation studios?

Alex: Yeah. He struggled to learn animation, too...just like you. Then he found Animationcast.

Mike leans forward.

Mike: Animationcast?

Alex: Animationcast lets you stream animators working on client projects. It’s better than webinars and classes, and a lot cheaper, too. Animationcast’s hands-on approach was exactly what he needed to help him land his dream job. Check them out now; they’re offering a free, seven-day trial!

Mike opens his computer and begins typing.

Mike (laughing) OK, ok. www.animationcast.com?

Sounds of keyboard clicking.

Close up of Mike watching a video.

Mike: Don't worry, top hat dog. We'll get you to that wedding soon.

Fade out.

Mike is seated at a desk, in front of a computer. His desk is in disarray, with coffee cups and snack wrappers, and pizza boxes scattered across the desk, trash can overflowing with balled up paper. Mike looks tired and bored.

Are you still looking at animation how-to videos on YouTube?

Slow zoom into a close up of Mike.

Mike nods, looking despondent.

YouTube’s great for kittens…

A thought bubble with a kitten pops over Mike’s head. He looks up at the kitten and smiles, putting a finger to his chin.

but for learning animation, there IS a better way. Animationcast!

Kitten bubble “pops.” Mike takes his finger from his chin and looks at audience (fourth wall) curiously.

Animationcast streams REAL animators working on REAL projects in REAL time. Interact, ask questions, and learn at your own pace.

New thought bubble appears over Mike…”Animationcast.” He looks at the bubble with interest, placing his fingers on his chin again. Animationcast bubble fades out.

It’s a fun, dynamic way to get the hands-on experience you need. No more expensive classes, no more pre-recorded webinars… no more YouTube.

New thought bubbles over Mike as narrator speaks, appearing in rapid succession:

dollar sign, a university-type building, a clock, and the kitten.

After narrator is done speaking, pop all bubbles, in rapid succession, until only kitten bubble is left.

Brief hesitation before popping kitten bubble. Kitten looks adorably sad (quick meow if possible) before his bubble pops.

Animationcast lets you learn techniques from the pros, for far less than you’re paying for online courses and college classes.

Mike turns back to fourth wall. He is listening intently.

Ready to take your animation game to the next level?

Mike nods and smiles.

Sign up for Animationcast now, and get a seven day, risk-free trial.

Mike is still smiling and nodding.

What are you waiting for? Sign up now! www.animationcast.com.

Mike jolts into action, turning back to his keyboard and typing frantically.

(Narrator to audience while Mike types)

Subject: Too Many Preventable Fires Making the Headlines this Winter

With several high-profile fires in the news, such as the ones in New York, Baltimore City, and Pennsylvania, fire safety stays a top priority for homeowners and businesses this winter.

The biggest fire threats come from space heaters, candles, and fireplaces. Here are the top safety tips when using these items to keep you and your family safe.

Candles
*Never leave candles unattended, even for “just a minute.”

*Keep lit candles at least a foot away from flammable surfaces such as drapery or upholstery

*Candle holders should be sturdy and tip-proof

Fireplaces
*Make sure your chimneys are clear and vented

*Never start a fire using lighter fluid or other flammable liquids

*Keep fire screen protectors in place to keep sparks from hitting flammable objects

Portable Heaters

*Do not power space heaters with extension cords

*Heaters should be sturdy with emergency shut off switches

*Keep space heaters away from ignition sources

We’re halfway through winter, with only a few more weeks left. Let’s make it a safe season for everyone!
